Our 2022 ILPOA Communications Committee held its first meeting on January 25th.  Our mission is to ensure all have the opportunity to be informed about issues and events impacting our community.  

Our focus will be board or committee communication to ILPOA members (except of course personal communication). Our goal is to utilize all regular channels of communication ( email or text, website, and social media ), 100% of the time when the board or committees are communicating to members.

Additional channels of communication for select content include our Electronic News Board and YouTube. A new component of our communications to our members will become our 90.1 FM radio station. Content is still being gathered and discussions remain open as to the desirability for the inclusion of non-ILPOA entries (advertising, notices, news, etc).  Vetting and publishing procedures for this content still need to be developed.

Member to board or committee communication is readily available via phone or email directed to the office and disseminated as necessary by the office.

The committee will soon begin reviewing ideas for renovating our ILPOA website. We wish to make our website more user-friendly and more attractive. Our first website renovation special meeting is set for February the 8th. We will communicate the results of that meeting and other meetings for the same purpose next month.
