On behalf of our entire community, we wish to once again thank the Booster Club for the purchase of a new water patrol boat and the Marina for donating time and materials as we jointly ready the patrol boat for the boating season.
- We continue to review our buoy position policy and our expectations of our water patrol staff. A desire for greater compliance with our water rules and regulations has become a high priority. To satisfy that desire, we are looking into the possibility of expanded water patrol hours including perhaps select weekday hours.
- As for our land security, members seem pleased with the placement of our Crawford County Sheriff Department substation and signage re-positioning. As always, the entire Board appreciates the thoughtful recommendations made by our members.
- Discussions with the CCSD indicate the probability of expanded patrols of our community, especially during our peak summer season. We will communicate details of those plans as they are developed.
- Volunteers for Neighborhood Watch Captains are needed to move the renewal of our program forward. Please provide the office with your name and contact information. Once we have a sufficient number of volunteers, group meetings with Lt Brooks will be scheduled.
Let me know if you have any questions.
