Lake Lovers,

Thank you to the many generous and committed families who have made gifts to the Lake Restoration Project. We have three year gifts/pledges of about $1.2 million toward our 5 year goal of $1.58 million. You can read more of the detail of the project in the many links below.

The equipment has all been installed, the compressors are all working and the 77 diffusers were pumping air all over the lake. NOTE: THE DIFFUSERS ARE CURRENTLY TURNED OFF FOR THE WATER TESTING TO COME IN MARCH! The date for the first Bio-augmentation will be hsared soon.

We are still hoping that more families will get on board to ensure a complete five year project funding. Again, there is a pledge form below.

All gifts are kept in a separate financial account controlled by a separate non-profit board, to protect these gifts.

Again, thanks to all those who are investing in making our lake healthy.

ILHOA LAKE RESTORATION COMMITTEE

The Lake Restoration committee is a volunteer group, supported by the following Board Members: Joe Mischik, John Richmond, Chris Pinaire, and Scott Rockafeller

MIKE SCHWARTZ: Mike & Chris have been property owners for two years now, having purchased Chris's parents home and totally remodeled it, added a new dock and new sea wall. Chris and her family have been owners here since 1967. I've been coming down since 1972 (the year i met my wife), we married in 1974, we have four children and soon to be five grandchildren. I've worked in the Kitchen and Bath industry since 1969 and retired in 2019. We love this lake and this community. We are here to stay and want to do what we can to help.

EDWARD R. WESTON: Ed and Nancy have been lake owners for the past 8 years, renovating their lake home; putting in a new dock; and making a major addition. Ed is a retired United Methodist Pastor, having served 43 years in the local church. He is currently serving as the Director of Development for a UMC related organization. Ed has a BS in Business, Masters of Divinity and a MBA. Ed and Nancy call Belleville, Illinois their home. They have four married children and nine grandchildren. “We love the lake” and enjoy spending our free time here, especially fishing and boating. We want to see our community go forward.
