ILPOA Rules & Regulations Section 19 require members to affix their lot numbers in 3-inch-high numbers to their docks facing the lake and easily visible to the Water Patrol. If a violation is observed, the owner will be given 30 days’ notice to correct this problem. If the violation is not corrected after the notification period, then a citation will be issued, and additional citations and fines will be issued every 30 days thereafter.

Most private docks are in compliance with our dock signage rule, but a handful are not. If you are not in compliance, please use this memo as a reminder. Water patrol will begin checking for compliance come April 1st.

For your convenience, the men’s club has dock signage for sale and if wanted, installation of the signage for a modest fee (contact Daryl Vander Weerd at 314-283-6839).  If you ordered signage and installation from the men’s club, you will not receive citations and fines during your wait time.  If you order signage from the men’s club, but decide to install the sign yourself, we will allow you 30 days to install the sign, post delivery from the men’s club, before any citation action would be taken.
