This has been an emotional week for our community with the passing of our association President, Mark McLean. A number of our members were able to attend the visitation and funeral over the last two days. Mark’s family remarked that they had met a number of “Mark’s Lake Friends”.

Many tears were shed by friends and family and they also shared their favorite memories of Mark. I know many of you have also shared on Nextdoor and Facebook and we intend to provide your comments to Mark’s Wife and Kids (Emily, Gavin & Maisie) so they know how much their lake community appreciated Mark.

It was clear that Mark had a strong faith, a desire to be a better husband, father and friend every day, and a strong commitment to the community. Our hope is that through this tragedy our community will be drawn even closer together and we can all carry on his legacy because he certainly Loved the Lake!
