Ahead of the 4th of July weekend, ILPOA completed testing for e.Coli. We are happy to report that all 7 areas testing throughout the lake showed very low levels of e.Coli, and that the lake is safe for all to use. The results of the test are enclosed here. 

We also completed testing last week for Harmful Algal Blooms (HABs). We have been testing the Algae profile of the lake consistently since the summer of 2021 and have semi annual test results back to 2019. Over the past two years, our lake has shown elevated levels of potentially harmful algae. The most recent testing shows a marked improvement in the algae profile in our lake which is unprecedented.
