Members,

As we have mentioned frequently, SAFETY is one of our focus areas for 2021.  As camera systems are becoming so affordable and easy – more and more of our members are installing them around their houses and properties.

When things happen around the community, we’d like to be able to help the police and our members out as much as possible.  Our cameras at the office have been AMAZING and are extremely helpful!  Unfortunately, we cannot afford to do something similar around the rest of the neighborhood.  So we are reaching out to the members as you may be able to help us!

If you have cameras that face out to the street and or the lake, could you please email to ilpoasafetycommittee@ilpoa.org with your name and address and as much detail about the cameras as you can (i.e. we have one on lakeshore facing north,  we have another that catches our driveway, we have one that reaches out to the lake, etc.).  We will keep the information you give us CONFIDENTIAL.

Our committee will mark up maps with the camera information.  When an incident happens in the community, we (together with CCSD) will be able to reference the area of the incident and see if there may be cameras nearby that caught any relative information.
