Water Safety Class

The Missouri State Highway Patrol – Water Division will be holding a water safety course here at Indian Hills on Saturday May 13. The class is scheduled to run from 8 AM to 4 PM at the community center. Participants should bring their own lunch. The class is free. Cost to obtain a permanent card is $15.

ILPOA rules, section 3, Lake Rules, Part A, Operation of Boats, Item 3 Members are urged  to be sure youngsters do not operate any motorized watercraft unless legally qualified or under adult supervision. No one under the age of fourteen (14) shall operate any motorized watercraft. Proof of age may be requested by Water Patrol.

An easy way to ensure proof of age is to have the boating safety card issued by the Missouri State Highway Patrol on the vessel.
