Weather was bound to get to us eventually, it is the last week of January.  The rain the other day brought the lake up 3’-9”.  (Not sure how much rain we did get, as my gauge cracked, but it was quite a bit). And some snow today, up to 2” is the prediction.  Local schools have a snow day.  Maintenance is keeping up with snow removal, but please slow down and be careful. 

BUT, it does not affect the bridge construction as much as it is affecting some of the members personal projects.  Although not working today, Brenneke Construction has continued to set rebar and are setting up approaches and the roadwork both yesterday and tomorrow.  He has it well covered up so that the snow is not settling into the base of the new work.  As soon as the temperatures are conducive – he’ll bring some concrete in and pour, maybe sooner than later from the look of the forecast.
