Lake Restoration Committee Update #3 (3/8/20)
March 8, 2020

If you haven’t taken the time to review the first video, please go to the previous communication and review the information provided. This second video covers various solutions attempted at other lake communities – as well as ours – to address the negative effects of eutrophication and why they fail to provide a sustainable solution.  It is around 4 minutes long and outlines why continued application of algicides actually adds to the problem.

In addition to offering this second video, we have member information meetings scheduled on Monday 3/02 in St Peters, MO and Monday 3/09 in Western St Louis. These are the second and third of four sessions aimed at providing our membership with the opportunity to ask questions, receive the most current updated information and provide any constructive feedback they may have. This Lake Restoration effort is a member driven initiative and we need all the input we can get so PLEASE attend one of the sessions and help us refine our approach.
