ILPOA Adds New Long Range Planning Committee

The information below was provided by Robert Dixon. If you have any questions you can email him at bod.rdixon@ilpoa.org.

The ILPOA Board has created a new committee with the charge of creating and maintaining a Long Term Plan for our lake community. Upon being asked to Chair this new committee, I quickly recruited Board Member Joe Mischik as Co-Chair, Mary Beth Huffman as a critical resource, and Association Members-At-Large Sue Garrow, Dave May, and Tom Orelup.

Our kick-off meeting was held on 12/30/20 and at that meeting, we defined our time horizon as “5 to 10 years” and unanimously decided that the key to any of our thoughts going forward is Association Membership input.  Exactly how we will solicit that input, interpret it, and organize it has yet to be determined, but such determinations will be made soon. Between now and then, what is important is that our Association Members become informed of our existence and are ready to give us input. Until then, try to envision what you would like our Indian Lake community to look like 5 to 10 years from now.

Thanks, and much more to come.
