The Fall Clean up day (Dumpster Day) was a real success this past Saturday, November 18.  There were plenty of volunteers helping unload the unwanted junk that members had no need to keep.  Several items, however, were not junk and were set aside for the St. James Caring Center Thrift Store who recycles and re-purposes clothing and other household pieces.

With the cooperation of Swinger Sanitation who provided the roll off dumpsters at no cost to us, members felt good about ridding themselves of excess “stuff”.  And those who so generously donated tips to our effort can also feel good that their total of $371 goes to the Booster Club.  You might call that a “win-win!”
