The ILPOA BOD conducted its first meeting with the newly sworn in Board of Directors on Friday December 8^th and elected a new slate of officers and department heads. We are pleased to announce that our new President will be Joe Mischik. Serving as Vice President will be Barry Alick, Secretary will be Dan Cannon, and Treasurer will be Tom Orelup.  Below are the Department heads:

Communications: Gary Weber (Chair) & Joe Mischik

Building Permits Chair: Jon Howard (Chair) & Gary Weber

IT: Dan Cannon (Chair) & Tom Orelup

Roads: Jim Hill (Chair)

Legal: Barry Alick (Chair) and Gary Weber

Long Term Planning: Al Santiago (Chair) and Bob Dixon

Maintenance/Lake: Tom Orelup (Chair) & Jon Howard

Office: Barry Alick (Chair)

CARE Chairs: Gary Weber, Bob Dixon, & Al Santiago

The Board is prioritizing three key areas in 2024: Communication, Lake, and Roads. We are committed to improving communication, and are going to work towards improving our website experience, and a monthly electronic version of the Smoke Signal (example newsletter is enclosed) to lay out key upcoming events, share recent posts that you may have missed, update Members on progress on key initiatives, and other important community news. We hope that these commitments will result in improved two-way communication between the community and the board, and improve trust with our Members.
